As the 2006 GVRCA President, Lisa brings an impressive background and proven work ethic to the Board. The de Marigny family has lived in The Ranch for over four years in the Carriage Lane subdivision. Lisa served as the President of the Carriage Lane sub-association for three years and served as Treasurer this past year.
It is obvious that Lisa cares about her community. After concluding a reconstruction project within Carriage Lane, she ran for a position on the GVRCA Board of Directors to apply her experience on a larger scale. She worked as Landscape Liaison during her first year on the Board which entailed planning the lighting and landscape of the west-end Amargosa Trail, landscape maintenance, coordinating with the reconstruction liaison to protect our plant material, and working with our developer to synchronize the aesthetics of commercial areas within our community. In addition to her community volunteer work, Lisa has been in the transportation business for twenty years and owns and operates her own business.
The Ranch’s broad range of amenities such as the parks, shopping, restaurants and the overall atmosphere of the community make GVR an ideal place for her and her husband, Gerard, to raise their four boys. Coming from the densely populated New York/New Jersey area, the de Marigny’s love the open feel of a planned community.
Lisa is excited about serving our residents during what should prove to be another exciting year for GVR. Her goal is to ensure that the last two vacant GVR parcels are developed to make a positive impact on our community.
